I have years of accounting experience, of course... I'm a CPA. But more than that... I have had ownership interests in a retail store, an outdoor services company, multiple restaurants, rental property, and a marketing firm. Not all of those ventures worked out well, but the lessons were and are invaluable. I've also consulted with clients in numerous other industries. In other words, my advice doesn't just come from my education, it comes from education and real-world experience. I've seen, and practiced, what works and what doesn't work.
I'm happily married with four children ranging in age from high school to preschool. Born in Deleware, raised in West Virginia, college in Arkansas (Go HOGS!), and one of twenty one children.
I had the blessing of being born into a Christian family and being taught about God at an early age. My parents made it possible for me to attend a Christian college where I met a Christian woman. Now, in addition to my work as a CPA, I serve as the minister of the Allensville Church of Christ in Allensville, KY.
KAYLA COCCHIARELLA
CPA Candidate
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. I spent some time working for a global public accounting firm focused primarily on tax compliance for individuals and partnerships. I am currently studying for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and looking forward to completing it next month.
My husband, Dave, and I moved to Clarksville, TN from Minneapolis, MN. We made our move because Dave is an Army Officer stationed at Ft. Campbell with the 101st Airborne Division. Together with our dog, Bentley, we enjoy spending our free time exploring all that Tennessee has to offer.
I am the youngest of four children, born and raised on my family's dairy farm in Western Wisconsin. I was raised with firm morals and taught that hard-work and honesty are always the best solutions to any problem.
